Celebrating Two Years of Smith & Co!

Smith & Co Recruitment is celebrating its second anniversary!

What started as a simple idea thrown out over a dinner date between husband-and-wife, Mark and Angela Smith, has since blossomed into a thriving recruitment agency with an amazing team. Beginning operations in October 2022 with just the two founders, Smith & Co has scaled to a strong team of 10 Australian based team members, and 3 international employees. The company has made incredible strides in both the blue-collar and white-collar sectors, with Mark leading the way in construction, trades, civil, warehousing, manufacturing, and logistics, and Angela heading up the team in accounts, finance, HR, marketing, and IT.

In just two short years, Smith & Co has proudly placed over 650 Australians in meaningful roles, and have helped over 100 Australian business' find workers. Smith & Co have received over 10 business accolades, including being named finalists in the Telstra Business Awards in the Accelerating Women category. But beyond the numbers, they’ve built a workplace with a healthy culture, and have donated thousands to local and international charities, including sponsoring four children through World Vision through quarterly charity efforts.

The team has celebrated countless birthdays, shared laughs, and enjoyed many team lunches that bring everyone closer together. From office pet visits to events and celebrations, the atmosphere at Smith & Co is one where fun and camaraderie are just as important as hard work. Every placement feels like a shared achievement, and the many memories made along the way are a testament to the close-knit team spirit that defines Smith & Co.
